His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Orthodox Church, departed to Rome from Beirut Airport at the head of a church delegation.
During the visit, His Beatitude shall meet His Holiness Pope Leo XIV and a group of decision-making cardinals within the Holy See.
The patriarchal delegation includes:
- Metropolitan Ignatios Al-Houshi (Western and Southern Europe)
- Metropolitan Antonios Al-Soury (Zahle and Baalbek)
His Beatitude was seen off at the airport by Minister of National Defense Michel Menassa, representing President Joseph Aoun.
