WCC General Secretary Delivers a Message of Solidarity to Patriarch John X:
"I convey to you the solidarity of the World Council of Churches amidst the events in Syria"

The General Secretary of the World Council of Churches, Rev. Professor Dr. Jerry Pillay, addressed a message of solidarity to HB John X, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, conveying feelings of love and solidarity from the World Council of Churches towards the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East and all the churches in Syria. Dr Pillay’s message addressed the historic Christian presence in Syria and communicated prayers to the Lord of Peace that He may instill peace in all hearts.
