Patriarch John X met with members of the Rock Association at the Patriarchate in Damascus.

The meeting touched on many points and ideas related to the present and future of Syria as a country for all its citizens regardless of their affiliations and denominations, with a focus on the importance of drafting a constitution that protects the rights of all under the law. Emphasis was placed on the need to take practical steps to ensure coordination and unity of all Christians in facing current challenges and meet deadlines with awareness, deliberation, and effective partnership among all.
