In solidarity with the Orthodox Church regarding the abduction of the nuns of the Maaloula's St. Thekla Convent, Minister Mohammad Abd Satar, Minister of Wakf visited the Patriarchate in Damascus along with a delegation of Muslim clerics and Sheikhs.

Their Graces Bishop Ephrem (Patriarchal Vicar) along with Bishop Luka and Mosussa welcomed them. They expressed their support and called for the safe return of the nuns.
