Divine Liturgy in the Mariamite Cathedral in…

His Beatitude Patriarch John X presided over the Divine Liturgy, Sunday December 8, 2013 at the Mariamite Cathedral in Damascus.

His Beatitude prayed for peace and for the safe return of all the abducted people, especially the Bishops of Aleppo Boulos and Youhanna, and the Abbess of St. Thekla Convent in Maaloula and her nuns and orphanage residents.

Their Graces Bishops: Ephrem Maalouli (the Patriarchal Vicar), Moussa El Khoury, Nicolas Baalbaki participated in the Liturgy. Also many sheikhs of the Arab tribes were present along with the President and a delegation from the Women Union in Syria.
