His Beatitude John X with the Antiochian parish…

His Beatitude John X held the Divine Liturgy on Friday 02 May at St. George Church in Bahrain, accompanied by His Eminence Isaac (Barakat) Metropolitan of Germany and Central Europe, His Grace Efraim (Maalouli) the patriarchal vicar and other priests and deacons.

In His Homily His Beatitude expressed his happiness for being amongst “the brothers in Bahrain” at the Paschal period.

His Beatitude talked about the Myrrh-Bearing women who form an example for us in faith and hope at times of tribulation.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy His Beatitude offered father Saba Haidosian an icon, appreciating his efforts with our children in Bahrain, and offered another icon for Mr. Stephan who offered the place in which the Holy services are being held.

After the Holy Liturgy the parishioners took His Beatitude’s blessing at his first visit to Bahrain.

Later the parishioners gathered with the Patriarch in an Agape.
