A delegation from the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) visited His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, at the Patriarchal Residency in Balamand.

The delegation included Secretary Hassan Saqr, representing the Party Leader Rabih Binat, as well as Secretary Dr. Walid Al-Azar, Secretary Ahmad Al-Ayoubi, Secretary George Greige, Secretary Edmond Melhem, Koura District Commissioner Jihad Fares, Michel Damaa, Nidal Daher, Elias Auda, and Maha Nassar.

The meeting was also attended by the Abbot of the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand, the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Georges Yaacoub.

The delegation offered its condolences to His Beatitude for the martyrs of St. Elias Church in Doueila, Damascus, and expressed its solidarity with His Beatitude in his national stances, affirming its pride in these positions.

For his part, His Beatitude thanked the delegation for their condolences and humanitarian stance, emphasizing the mission of the Church of Antioch and its historical role in fostering unity and coexistence among all communities.
