Patriarch John X met with Drs. Mahmoud Kaftaro and Hassan Kaftaro at the Patriarchate in Damascus.

The meeting tackled the current circumstances in Syria and aspirations for the future, through combined efforts of all its children, Muslims and Christians alike, to contribute to their country's progress on the basis of citizenship, rejecting the logic of minority and majority, and establishing a comprehensive constitution that guarantees the rights of all citizens and their active participation in building the nation
