His Beatitude Patriarch John X Receives the Greek ambassador to Lebanon on a Farewell Visit

Patriarch John X, Patriarch of Antioch and the all the East of the Greek Orthodox Church, received the Greek Ambassador to Lebanon Franciscos Verros on a farewell visit to mark the end of his duties, at the Patriarchal Headquarters in Balamand.

The meeting dealt with the historical relationship between Antioch and Greece, on the ecclesiastic and community levels.

Topical issues and of church affairs in the Orthodox world were also discussed. His Beatitude thanked Ambassador Pharos for his efforts in promoting relations. For his part, the ambassador appreciated the role played by the Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East on the church and local levels.
