The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, John X asserted that today's world, troubled by all sorts of conflicts and challenges, is in dire need to hear a word of comfort and a cry of truth from the Church. His Beatitude’s words came in the context of a phone call to the Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, Anastasius. During the call, the prelates touched on the fraternal relations between the Antiochian and Albanian Churches. They discussed the role assigned to both churches in their respective societies which is building bridges of communication, convergence, and tolerance to others on the one hand, and preserving identity and faith with reason and wisdom on the other.
