The Antiochian Orthodox Media Center (AOMC) — a patriarchal institution established by the Holy Antiochian Orthodox Synod in its session held on June 20, 2013, at Balamand, presided by His Beatitude Patriarch John X — launched Voice of Grace Radio (VoG) with a trial broadcast (a collection of hymns) at the beginning of May 2014. Voice of Grace, which marks each year the anniversary of its first broadcast on the Sunday of the Myrrhbearers, is the official radio station of the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Orthodox Church. It should be noted that the Center was officially inaugurated on June 26, 2015.
On May 29 of the same year, the Orthodox Media Group began intensive recordings to cover a wide broadcasting range. Since May 2015, operations gradually moved to the radio studios in Balamand, where numerous recordings of hymns and daily segments were produced.
At the beginning of 2019, a wide array of talk shows was launched, and with them, the entire operation shifted to Balamand. Subsequently, a radio studio was established at the Patriarchate in Damascus (December 2022), and VoG Kids was launched in 2024 through the creation of a fully equipped studio dedicated to children at Balamand.
The radio’s dedicated mobile application was also released in its new format, developed to meet listeners’ needs (December 2025).
Voice of Grace broadcasts talk shows and individual programs recorded in the studios of Balamand and Damascus. Programs are categorized as follows: pastoral, doctrinal, liturgical, and scriptural, among others. Their purpose is to assert and spread our authentic Orthodox faith.
A set of daily and weekly liturgical services (daily Vespers, daily Matins, and the Divine Liturgy) is broadcast live from Balamand Monastery and Damascus.
The radio’s administration coordinates with the choirs of all dioceses of our Holy Antiochian See, both at home and abroad, to enrich the broadcast and encourage talented individuals to dedicate God’s gifts to service and ministry.
