The final day of the gathering began with the Divine Liturgy, celebrated by our Father, His Beatitude Patriarch John X.
In the closing program, the groups came together to complete the mural they had begun on the first day, each leaving their mark upon it as a sign of the promise that each one would carry forward what they had lived in “Ana Icon” and continue it in their own way.
The groups then shared their impressions of the days they had spent together, while the staff also offered reflections on the service they had lived alongside the youth. Towards the closing, gifts were distributed: the Holy Bible, a prayer rope, and an icon of the Holy Mandylion.
The closing was filled with love and gratitude. Though the days were few, they carried many encounters, much laughter, prayer, and questions, leaving behind an enduring imprint.
Though the days of the gathering have ended, the experiences the youth shared and the imprint the meeting left in their hearts will continue with them on their journey.
