In an atmosphere of extreme joy, with the presence of a large congregation from Dubai, Abu-Dhabi and Sharja who filled the church of Annunciation in Dubai, His Beatitude John X Patriarch of Antioch and all the East held the last Divine Liturgy in His pastoral visit in United Arabs of Emirates, assisted by His Eminence Isaac (Barakat) Metropolitan of Germany and Central Europe, His Grace Efraim (Maalouli) patriarchal vicar and other priests and deacons.
There were present also the Syrian and the Lebanese consolers in Dubai.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude held a speech in which he expressed his happiness for being amongst his brothers.
His Beatitude reassured that: “the joy of Resurrection manifests when we say “Brethren”, and this fraternity enables us to address God as our Father”.
His Beatitude gave thanks to Archimandrite Barnaba Misi, the priest of the parish for all his efforts, offering him a Holy Cross.
His Beatitude addressed His children everywhere sending them a paschal greeting, giving thanks to Tele Lumiere Noursat which transmitted live the Divine Liturgy.
After the Divine Liturgy the members of the Sunday school gathered around the Patriarch, and groups of children chanted paschal hymns in an atmosphere that reflects the importance of the occasion.
Later His Beatitude met the parishioners in an atmosphere of simplicity and mutual love.
