His Beatitude, John X, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, left Beirut presiding an official ecclesiastical delegation in a pastoral visit to Bahrain.

At His departure from Beirut Airport was presented His Excellency Ramzi Jreij, Minister of Information, representative of Mr. President Michael Sleiman.

At this visit, His Beatitude is accompanied by an official delegation whose members are: His Eminence Isaac (Barakat) Metropolitan of Germany and Central Europe, His Grace Efraim (Maalouli) patriarchal vicar, Archimandrite Youhanna Batash, Archimandrite Ibrahim Daood, Archimandrite Parthenios Al-lati, Archdeacon Gherasimos Kabbas, Dr. Michael Najjar Vice presedent of the University of Balamand, Dr. Waleed Mbaied director of admission and registration, and a media deligation to cover the whole visit with all its pastoral activities, and His Beatitude’s participation in the conference of “Dialogue between civilizations in the service of humanity” in Manamah.

His Beatitude was received at the airport of Manamah by Sheik Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa the Bahraini Ambassador in Kuwait, the general coordinator of the conference, Archimandrite Efraim Teemi the representative of His Eminence Constantine Papa Stephanos Metropolitan of Baghdad, Kuwait and the Arabian Peninsula, and the priest of Bahrain Parish father Saba Haidosian and members of the parish.
