Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon and Syria Received…

 

With the blessing of Patriarch John X, the Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Romanos (Al-Hannat) and the Patriarchal Assistant Bishop Moussa (Al-Khoury) received the Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon and Syria, Mrs. Jessica Svardstrom, at the Patriarchate in Damascus.

The meeting, highlighted the importance of collaborating and consolidating all efforts to build a new Syria, founded on the values of citizenship and equality. They also stressed the importance of drafting an inclusive constitution that guarantees all kinds of freedom, justice and the respect of the law for all citizens without exception, thus establishing a future of justice and peace.
