Patriarch John X while receiving President of the Parish Council of Södertälje-Sweden: “We are proud of our children in Sweden and overseas, for they are our ambassadors to their communities.”

HB John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received Mrs. Samia Karam, President of the Parish Council of Södertälje-Sweden, at the Patriarchate in Damascus. His Beatitude was informed by the President of Council about the conditions of the Södertälje parish and the church activities there. He declared that the Church of Antioch is proud of its children wherever they live, being ambassadors of the Church and its values to all their communities.

The Patriarch asked to convey his love to all the parishioners. For her part, Mrs. Samia expressed her thanks to His Beatitude for his constant care of the parish and for his efforts to overcome all difficulties in full cooperation with the parishioners.
