His Beatitude Patriarch John celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Monastery of our Lady of Balamand. The ceremony included the presence and participation of their Eminences, Metropolitans Athanasios (Lattakia), Gregorios (Homs), Antonios (Houran), and their Graces Bishops Konstantin (Kayal), Arsenios (Dahdal), Moses (al-Khosi), along with the priests from the city of Antioch, as well as several priests and deacons.

During the Liturgy, His Beatitude elevated Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Pavlus Orduluoğlu, the Patriarchal Vicar in Antioch, to the position of a spiritual father and confessor.

His Eminence Metropolitan Antonios delivered a sermon, focusing on the Epistle and Gospel of the day, emphasizing the Lord Jesus' invitation to each individual, as He is standing at the door of our hearts and knocking, especially as we stand on the threshold of Nativity, where this call remains extended to everyone.
